Take note that many of these comebacks/debuts in the list have not been officially confirmed. But we do wish all of these music releases will happen this year too!
1. Big Bang's 'MADE' album [confirmed]
After the release of the group's single albums in 2015, the full album is guaranteed to come out in 2016, although a release date has not been set yet. The members missed out on end of the year ceremonies to focus on album preparations.
2. Girls' Generation Tiffany's debut solo album [unconfirmed]
Rumors and reports had been going around for a while that after Taeyeon's solo debut, Tiffany would also have her solo debut. SM Entertainment stated that nothing is confirmed.
3. Wonder Girls' comeback [confirmed]
The group transformed into a band for their last comeback and it was a hit. JYP Entertainment stated Wonder Girls was one of the groups to have a comeback this year in their 2016 comeback plans report.
4. After School's comeback [unconfirmed]
In Pledis Entertainment's 2016 comeback report, After School was not listed to have a comeback this year. The members are said to have individual activities and an Orange Caramel comeback.
But an online petition for After School's comeback has been growing, so keep your fingers crossed?
5. H.O.T reunion [unconfirmed]
Lots of rumors and reports have been going around that original boy group H.O.T (as well as Sechskies) would rejoin and have their comeback. H.O.T's side stated that nothing is confirmed.
6. 4minute comeback [confirmed]
Cube Entertainment confirmed the girls are making a comeback this month. It's likely to be with DJ Skrillex, as they were seen in the studio together.
7. AOA Black comeback [confirmed]
FNC Entertainment announced in their 2016 comeback report that AOA would have unit promotions, including AOA Black with member Youkyung.
8. Jessica's solo album [unconfirmed]
She recently impressed fans with her cover of "Gravity" for 'Grazia'. She's been immersed in fashion in China, and it'd be great for her to release a solo album too!
9. Lee Hi's comeback [confirmed]
Last summer it was reported that Lee Hi would make her comeback under Tablo's label HIGHGRND, rather than YG Entertainment.
10. Girls' Generation's sub-unit SHY debut [unconfirmed]
The 'members' Sooyoung, Hyoyeon and Yuri have joked about this sub-unit, and they also had a performance together at Girls' Generation's recent concert. But nothing about this sub-unit debut has been confirmed.
