The championship baseball game for 2015's 'WBSC Premier 12' is almost upon us. As you know, South Korea defeated Japan, 4-3, on Thursday, earning their spot to compete in the grand finale.
And the U.S. also defeated Mexico in their match, 6-1 on Friday. And so it's South Korea vs. the United States for the 'Global Championship Game' on Saturday night at the Tokyo Dome!
Japan and Mexico will play for the bronze medal on Saturday afternoon, just before the grand finale game.
The Premier 12 had 12 countries competing, including the four mentioned above, as well as Cuba, Taiwan, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Canada, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Italy.
The champion team receives $1 million dollars, split between the players. But the winning amount is still big for the runner-ups, as second place gets $600,000, third place receives $400,000 and fourth place receives $300,000.
Honestly speaking, who will you be cheering for?
