MAMAMOO will be representing Korea at the next 'SXSW (South by Southwest)' in 2016! The event takes place every year in Austin, Texas around March.
News that the girls would be joining the lineup was made public on November 3. �As the international event invites artists from fifty countries; 20,000 music reps; and 2,000 teams of musicians; this is a pretty huge deal for the group.

Some of the other Korean artists who have performed at SXSW in the past include�YB Band, Jang Kiha and the Faces, f(x), HyunA, Epik High,�and Jay Park.
A rep from their agency stated, "It's an honor for girl group MAMAMOO, which debuted 2 years ago, to participate in a global music festival. �They are doing their best in order to show a good stage as they are going to represent Korea."
