Ji Min, who lost her vision due to retinal abnormalities, started playing piano by ear ever since she was three years old. At the mere age of ten, she enrolled into Seoul Arts Center's Music Academy for formal training. Ji Min would improvise, and her instructor would record her and then transcribe the notes onto music sheets. In this manner, Ji Min has been able to overcome her disability and composed hundreds of songs.
