What piqued the most interest wasn't the drama's plot, the characterization, or even Yoo Seung Ho for that matter, who has established himself as a veteran actor despite his young age. People were mainly interested in Cho Hye Jung's acting abilities, as ever since the casting stage, there were talks that she had gotten the role not with her talent, but through pulling some strings in the industry. This had led the viewers to be skeptical and critical of her acting from the get-go, even before the first episode aired.
During the press conference that took place on the same day that the first episode aired, Cho Hye Jung addressed the controversy that surrounded her, saying, "There were a lot of talks regarding the casting. I promised myself that I would put an end to my hardships [and act]. During filming, I thought that I should give all my concentration on set. I tried my best."
The people that have the most to say about this matter are, of course, the netizens, who left blunt comments criticizing Cho Hye Jung's lackluster performance in the drama. Some of the top comments read, "If improving your acting was so easy why do you think celebs like Kim Tae Hee and IU were bashed so much," "I'm sorry Yoo Seung Ho..I really can't watch this drama. I'll be sure to watch 'Remember,'" "Her face and acting both," "If they shoot a kiss scene, it'll probably feel like Cho Hye Jung's eating Yoo Seung Ho," and, "Yoo Seung Ho has a [high] rank..."
