The crew of 'Real Men' had made the irretrievable mistake of leaking the SSN of one of its cast members, namely actor Lee Yi Kyung, on its November 29 episode.
This mistake, along with the editing team's poor choice of background music, which was the Japanese Navy's march theme, had offended a number of viewers. 'Real Men's production team and the show's producer Kim Min Jong had uploaded an official apology online to mitigate the mistakes they made.
Actor Lee Yi Kyung was one among the many parties they apologized to, and Lee Yi Kyung personally acknowledged the apology on his Instagram. He wrote, "I received an apology from the production crew of 'Real Men' regarding the November 29 broadcast of the show's Marine Corps edition. Thank you for expressing concern over the editing mistake and my waist injury. I think the company and the production team were more shocked than I was after the episode aired."
Lee Yi Kyung's SSN was accidentally leaked in the process of the actor filling out a form on the show, a scene which the 'Real Men' crew hadn't properly placed a mosaic over to hide his SSN.

Lee Yi Kyung finished off his writing with, "I'm continuing to receive treatment on my waist. I will come back to you healthy and greet you once again as an actor. It was a short tenure [on 'Real Men'] but I was happy. I'm really okay," reassuring everyone who was worried about him.
