Now that the big secret about Ha Ri's true identity is out, Sung Joon can't be bothered to deal with her any longer. I gotta say, the way Sung Joon reacted after he discovered that Ha Ri wasn't the real Hye Jin was harsh to say the least. He didn't even give the poor girl the chance to explain and just stormed away huffing and puffing. I don't know about you, but I think Sung Joon could have been a tad more tactful in breaking it off with Ha Ri.
Leterallee the faces my co-worker and I make while watching this frustrating drama.
This is just speculation, but I believe Sung Joon was mostly mad that Ha Ri's lie--which she only agreed to on Hye Jin's request--kept him from his one true love: Hye Jin. He's probably feeling immensely guilty that he treated Hye Jin so awfully early on. Then wouldn't it be more appropriate that he be more upset with Hye Jin? She did start this whole mess with her bizarre modus-operandi to hide her true identity. Bah, this drama is just messing with all your emotions!
I should be mad at your for lying to me but I don't know why I'm crying.
Ha Ri knows Sung Joon won't even look at her twice now that he's been reunited with his childhood love. Part of me thinks she deserves her fate, but a larger part of me mostly feels sorry for her. You can't really help who you fall in love with. And from the way Sung Joon discarded her like a dirty old dish rag made me feel a bit indignant about the careless, crass way Sung Joon handles other people's feelings.
Those PJs are so cute but so naughty at the same time. (For those who can't read, it says: "Sleep with me." ;) So yeah, Sung Joon you know English, right? Maybe that is why her parents told her, "Have fun~")
On the other hand, maybe it's a good thing that Sung Joon severed all ties with Ha Ri. That way, she won't have any lingering feelings left for him. What's worse than Sung Joon's wrath, however, is Hye Jin's compassion for her best friend. Because Hye Jin knows that Ha Ri is deeply in love with Sung Joon, she can't bring herself to continue where things left off with him. She knows full well that the moment she does, it may hurt Ha Ri and ultimately ruin their friendship, which, for the record, has a longer history than the one between her and Sung Joon. But it is exactly Ha Ri's understanding and compassion towards her that makes Ha Ri feel even more wretched about herself. In the dialogue where Hye Jin finally confronts Ha Ri, Ha Ri chokes, "Because this is all I am," implying that she is not good enough for either Hye Jin's friendship or Sung Joon's affection.
Bromance in the works.
Then we got poor Shin Hyuk also moping and feeling sorry for himself because he was rejected by 'Jjacksen.' His heart must ache every time he sees Jjacksen; so much so that he even decides to quit 'The Most'! Call me evil for saying this but I think it's a tad irresponsible just to resign from your post over a girl. Seriously, you built your whole career there! And now you're just going to throw away all the hard work you did over the years?? That's why you never date within the same department, kids. There there, Shin Hyuk. You will always be numero uno in my heart. I still ship him and Jjacksen!
Hye Jin: Are you mad?
Shin Hyuk: Bro, does this look like a mad expression to you?
