American producer Michael Uslan joins hands with KBS to remake Korean dramas and variety shows

Michaal Uslan is most known for producing the 'Batman' films, dating as far back as Tim Burton's 1989 'Batman' to the upcoming 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.�

The drama that the two companies closed a deal on is the 2005 thriller/melodrama 'Resurrection' starring Uhm Tae Woong and Han Ji Min. Aside from 'Resurrection,' KBS and U2K will work together to broadcast Korean versions of American TV dramas and TV adaptations of Korean webtoons on KBS. The two companies will be specifying which shows they will be remaking at the upcoming American Film Market.�

Further, KBS was reported to have signed a licensing agreement with US production company Chicken Soup for the Soul for the remake of 'Superman Is Back.' �
