Overalls have been making such a strong comeback that it's no surprise three trendy female idols were spotted in the same ones! Each girl wore them on her respective group's reality program, as well.
EXID's Hani wore her light blue, wide-bottomed, short overalls in 'EXID's Showtime' for their hilarious 'Minority Report' episode. She wore a pink-and-white striped crop top under and is the only one to accessorize by wearing a gray purse slung across her body with neon green accents and, at times, her signature hair roll.
4minute's HyunA wore it in '4minute Video,' opting for a long-sleeve black shirt underneath. Taeyeon wore hers on 'Channel Girls' Generation,' her bright ombre hair style adding an extra shock to the outfit while she wears a simple, loose white T-shirt underneath with what appears to be a circular design on the front.
I have to say that as much as I love Hani, I like her outfit the least. It accentuates her youthful charms and it is colorful, which makes it appropriate for the summer, but the overalls already look quite youthful already, so she seems to have overdid it with all the colors. In the end, it verges on looking childish. She pulls it off, don't get me wrong, but compared to the other two, it's too much.
I like Taeyeon's look, and she couldn't afford to do too much because her hair was already a big eye catcher, but in a way, she seems to have taken the easy route, going for a simple appearance. Also, the overalls are supposed to be oversized, but they outright look too big on her, especially the bottom half. I would put her second, so, by process of elimination, you know that HyunA's look is first for me!
I like how she takes what could be a child-like garment and adds a bit of chicness to it with the black, long-sleeved shirt underneath. She still looks youthful because the overalls themselves are so cute, but the choice of shirt beneath helps to offset that childishness with a bit more of a fashionable edge.
