Music site MelOn says 'sajaegi' on their chart is not possible

Controversy has been brewing with�JTBC's report which suggested that music chart MelOn may be experiencing 'sajaegi' (aka chart manipulation),�due to the discovery of�thousands of suspicious accounts that are being used to stream and download the music of certain groups all around the clock.�

But a representative from MelOn spoke with OSEN through the phone and stated, "We have been blocking any abnormal usage. Music 'sajaegi' is impossible."

The rep added, "We are monitoring abnormal use [on our site]. In the case of multiple duplicate IDs being used abnormally, we have a system that has been made to prevent this influencing our charts. Even if there is 'sajaegi' it doesn't affect the music chart. We are putting in our best effort to keep the fairness [on our site]."
