Girls' Generation's 'Lion Heart' makes a clean sweep winning 6 first place trophies!

Girls' Generation have had an amazing week with their 5th album 'Lion Heart'! 


Not only has the album made it into the top of Billboard's 'World Albums' chart, but the song itself has been winning music show awards left and right. In addition, the album is number one domestically, reaching first place on both Hanteo and Synnara's weekly album charts.

As if that's not enough, three title tracks from Girls' Generation this summer are also charting well on the 'World Digital Songs' chart! But of course it's their title track "Lion Heart" that is really doing well. 


This week, Girls' Generation performed their hit on cable and terrestrial broadcasts including: MTV's 'The Show', MBC MUSIC's 'Show! Champion', Mnet's 'M Countdown', KBS' 'Music Bank', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS' 'Inkigayo'. Showing their mighty power, the girls won the first place trophy on all six music shows, making a clean sweep for the week.
