The label stated on July 22:
"As TASTY's agency, we're releasing our official statement on the group's one-sided end to their activities in Korea since early June and their promotions in China. Firstly, the two members called Woollim Entertainment's head on June 5 to tell him their one-sided demands after leaving to China without notice on June 3. Also after one month of not being able to contact them, they revealed through SNS that they would be promoting in China and announced an album."Judging by Woollim Entertainment's statement, it looks like the agency's letting everyone know that TASTY's actions are illegal. What are your thoughts on the matter?
"News related to their Chinese activities then became headlines domestically negatively affecting public opinion, which is when they contacted us (July 21). As TASTY are still under contract with Woollim Entertainment, we stated that 'what TASTY are asserting isn't communication but a notification' and that 'we should meet officially to talk.' Despite all this, they posted to SNS today (July 22) as if they've been in contact with us all along."
"TASTY are currently still in an exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment, and their Chinese promotions and album release are distinct contractual violations. We're making it clear that these actions are of label artists who are ignoring their contracts."
