In an exclusive report by Kukmin Ilbo, it has been reported that SPICA member Jiwon (27) had gotten into a car accident after falling asleep at the wheel.
On July 3, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station revealed that on the previous day at 11:30 PM KST, there was a triple rear-end collision at Seongsudaegyo, Apgujeong in the direction of Seungsu-dong.

On this day, Jiwon was driving her Chevrolet to her home in Geumhodong and hit one after the other two taxis in the next lane that were giving signals. Four people, including taxi driver A, sustained minor injuries on their neck, arms, and knees while Jiwon felt pain in her left wrist, so went to the nearby H University Hospital.
After the accident, the police did a Blood Alcohol Content test on Jiwon and revealed that she had not been drinking and driving. The report claimed she had fallen asleep at the wheel.
