Talented rapper Sleepy appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' on July1 and revealed his connection to AOA.
The MCs brought up the fact that he was known to teach hip hop, Kyuhyun specificlally bringing up Jimin. Sleepy acknowledged he taught her for about eight months, saying, "This was when she had debuted, but had not managed to grab attention. I taught three of them: Jimin, Chanmi, and Mina. At the time, neither I nor they were famous. Even now, the AOA members call me 'teacher', but they don't come looking for me."
"What's funny is that we were very unknown at the time. People didn't really know AOA or Sleepy. When I came out on 'Radio Star' [the last time], I was teaching them. [The members of AOA], the company people, and those around me were all surprised, saying, 'He was teaching here? The person who came out on "Radio Star"?'" making everyone laugh that people were surprised he'd be on TV.

He continued, "Then AOA hit success. Now they say to me, 'You taught AOA?'" making everyone laugh at how ignored he pretty much was. He would be told to stop joking around or was asked for a picture with AOA.
