'SMTM 4' didn't reveal who was actually eliminated until the sixth episode, which just aired in Korea. The Verbal Jin and San E producer team had decided to drop Black Nut from their team. Though Hanhae messed up in the last episode's mission by forgetting his lyrics, Verbal Jint and San E had pointed out the fact that Black Nut was wearing his sunglasses again due to his stage fright.
After the elimination of Black Nut, the San E - Verbal Jint team was getting ready to face off with the PALOALTO - Zico team in a diss battle. Hanhae had told the production crew in an interview, "I must go on the stage again for the diss battle. It could be the victim mentality, but I felt like someone who sinned. I felt like everyone was watching me," expressing his uneasiness over being chosen over Black Nut. He added, "I think the most I can do at the moment is to do well for the diss battle."
PALOALTO, who saw that the San E and Verbal Jint team were in a state of tumult, noted his opposing team's weakened condition, commenting, "Hanhae doesn't feel all too great about being selected in the previous mission. I think it's our rival's weakness."
However, much to everyone's shock, Black Nut showed up again at the rehearsal studio. In a clip prepared by the production crew, Verbal Jint can be seen saying, "We wish to reevaluate our judgement on Black Nut and Hanhae," and revealed that they had reversed their decision, bringing Black Nut back on board their team. Both Verbal Jint and San E acknowledged their mistake and gathered both Black Nut and Hanhae to have a talk with them.
Black Nut, visibly indignant about the ridiculousness of the whole situation, rapped at San E and Verbal Jint, "You dropped me for some petty reason, but now you want to see me again? I won't f*cking do it. Why should I be a part of your politics again? It doesn't matter whether I wear my sunglasses or close my eyes; you're just dogs to Rhymer. I witnessed Brand New's love for Hanhae. I feel bad for Hanhae getting involved with the company...even you don't think it's right that I was dropped. It's not for the sake of seeing me go but for the sake of saving face. It's not 'SMTM 4' but f*ck VJ and f*ck San E."
Hanhae, who chose to leave of his own accord, said, "I feel really regretful. For two days I felt a lot of stress and fear that I've never before felt in my life...The biggest regret is that I won't be able to continue on 'SMTM 4' any longer. If I had just endured this ordeal then I could have shown so much more."
