One model high school student who had set an example for the rest of his class with a stellar academic record was reported to have murdered his own mother.
One rep from the student's school is said to have related, "The mother slapped her son's face countless times even at school with people watching." The student's father, who was separated from the mother at the time, recalled, "Her tenacity was something to behold," attesting to his late wife's unhealthy obsession over her son's academics.

Unlike the star pupil's immaculate academic achievements, the student's situation back home was less than perfect. On a recent airing of MBC's current events program 'Police,' the reason for the student's abhorrent act of matricide was revealed.
The program told of how the mother inflicted painful and cruel methods of discipline on her son in order to mold him into the perfect student. Not only did the mother clout her son 200 times with a golf club but she also forced her son to study by starving him. Eventually, unable to endure the severe forms of discipline any longer, the student retaliated by murdering his own mother.
