As compared to the prior day, FNC's stock price rose a whopping 29.81%, soaring 6,200 KRW (~ $5.42 USD) to a record high of 27,000 KRW (~ $23.61 USD) per share. The market cap of the company saw a dramatic surge as well; before Yoo Jae Suk joined, the total value of the company was 262.9 billion KRW (~ $230 million USD), but after the addition of the MC to their roster of talents, the market cap increased 78.4 billion KRW (~ $68.5 million USD), raising the value of the company to a total of 341.3 billion KRW (~ $298 million USD).
After news of Yoo Jae Suk's exclusive contract with FNC was announced this morning, the stock price had skyrocketed, proving just how influential the 'Grasshopper' is in Korea.
