MERS scare reaches MBC 'Show! Music Core'

MBC 'Show! Music Core' will be taking drastic measures as patients diagnosed with MERS increase in South Korea.�

According to the report, producers and staff members have sent out an official notice via Twitter and other online methods making it mandatory for audience members of 'Show! Music Core' to wear masks when attending the live broadcasting. Fans who are not wearing masks will be escorted out.�

In addition to making the use of masks a must, the producers will also be providing the audience members with hand sanitizers and a location to check their temperatures at the show to further help in preventing the spread of MERS.�

Currently, at least 50 patients have been diagnosed with MERS with four patients who have passed away from the disease. Only one patient has fully recovered from MERS and was recently reported to have been discharged from the hospital.�
