In his interview, Lee Joon talked about how he wanted to act ever since he was a student. He shared that when he was a dance major, he coincidentally was able to meet Rain, and made his acting debut not in Korea but in Hollywood in the film 'Ninja Assassin'. After six auditions, he was cast as the young version of Rain's main character in the film.
Lee Joon said humbly, "I was not good at English but my pronunciation was on the good side. So I think they thought that if I received really grinding training that it would be possible."
He also said, "I'm not sure what acting is exactly. I think that an actor who can portray their genuineness to the public is a good actor." Then we say Lee Joon is also one of those good actors!
He said, "I've always had a lot of ambition but after 'Heard It Through the Grapevine', I want to do even better. I at least don't want to show a retrogressing side of me."
