The funeral parlor needs to get their affairs in order! Imagine opening your father's casket to find someone else's body!
Recently, Mr. Chang (48) went to a hill in Bugi-myeon, Cheongwon-gun, Chungbuk at 10 PM to bury his late father (81) only to find, lo and behold, that he was burying somebody else entirely.
He arrived at the graveyard, completed the funeral process, and was shocked to find that the coffin had somebody else's name on it!
It turns out that a funeral hall in Jeungpyeong had not properly checked his father's name before handing over another body to the Chang family. Unsurprisingly, the family is strongly revolting against this act, saying that the funeral home should not have made such a mistake.
Mr. Chang said, "If he had been cremated, that means we would have buried another person's ancestor and not have been able to properly honor my father."
The funeral hall acknowledged their mistake, saying there had been a problem with their business processing and apologized to the family.
