An idol and staff member from a large agency to be investigated for drug use

Lately the entertainment industry has been buzzing about a veteran female singer, Gye Eun Sook, being investigated for abusing Philopon (aka methamphetamine). And now the list of those under investigation in the entertainment industry may be growing as it has been found that a staff member (32 years old) of a large agency was arrested at the Incheon airport on June 22 on suspicions of using cocaine. He/she was later tested positive, and the prosecution is now looking into various idols who may have used the drug with this staff member.

One particular idol is said to be a Hallyu star and was specifically named by the staff member as one of the people he/she used cocaine with. This idol is also under the same agency as the staff member, and they would secretly take drugs at the recording studio and various secret locations with other acquaintances to avoid being spotted.�

This means other idols and staff members in connection with these two may also be on the prosecution's list of people to investigate.�
