T-ara's Eunjung made her solo debut under another name, ELSIE, and although she appeared to be confident, she revealed she actually did have some qualms about this, especially as she would be facing hard competition against other solo artists Hyunseung, Hyosung, and Sunggyu.
ELSIE said, "The competition of solo artists who were originally in idol groups, Hyunseung, Hyosung, and Sunggyu, started in May. This is my first time [as solo] and I even used a stage name. There was no way I wouldn't worry," and laughed.
As she's going by ELSIE for her solo promotions, she said, "I was worried that people might not recognize me because I changed my name. I thought promotions weren't done that much, so I was always worried. However, I went on stage with the feeling that I embellished my performance with a mature song that expresses emotions. I thought I would emphasize my emotions with the help of my acting experience."

She continued, "If T-ara was mostly seen as a bright and exciting image, then I thought I would appeal this time through an alluring and cool vibe. I thought I would definitely be able to do something different from T-ara's Eunjung. I liked that in itself. Thankfully, people who saw my stage judged it to be an alluring sexiness. I'm going up on stage with that mental attitude."
Lastly, ELSIE stated, "My preparation time for my solo album was not long. It was prepared suddenly. I was very worried. I worked hard to be devoted to the best of my abilities to the songs' atmosphere. I wanted to show a different image from T-ara. It was also a new attempt for me to focus on the song itself rather than an outgoing stage. It was hard following the emotions, but it was a time in which I needed a challenge," ultimately showing she was satisfied with her solo.
