Elderly man finds his lost wife after a long search

This past Tuesday, an overjoyed elderly man could hardly contain his relief and tears when his lost wife with dementia was found safe and sound in a nearby alleyway.

The elderly couple was on a family trip to Suncheon when the man's wife went missing. After an overnight stay at an inn, the family woke up to discover that grandma had disappeared. The husband immediately ran to the nearest police station and reported his wife to be missing. With tears in his eyes he told the officers, "When I woke up she was gone," and, "I'm worried sick because she has dementia."

Thankfully, grandpa found his wife approximately 1 km away from the inn in a narrow backstreet with the help of the officers who referenced the the nearby CCTV footage and her described physical appearance to locate her whereabouts.�Grandpa embraced his wife in a bear hug as soon as he saw her, crying tears of joy, making the others around them also choke up a little at the touching reunion.�
