The back and forth between actress Clara and Ilkwang Group (Polaris Entertainment)'s CEO, Lee Kyu Tae, continues as a recent report by Channel A came to light on May 20. As a refresher, she is currently suing the agency for a nullification of her contract while the agency is suing her back for allegedly blackmailing their CEO with claims of sexual humiliation.
According to Channel A, Clara made a variety of claims during her recent prosecution investigation, such as, "It was not blackmailing, rather a request for the reasonable cancelation of my contract," and, "Lee Kyu Tae treated me like a woman," and submitted evidence.
She said, "Lee Kyu Tae called me separately to the finest hotel restaurant and even bought me a bag from French luxury brand, Hermes; his interest in me was burdensome. He even followed me to a bathroom inside a luxurious hotel business center, which scared me." She said that she had felt displeasure from how he treated her more as a woman than as a celebrity under his agency. As such incidents continued to happen, she told her father, Lee Seung Kyu, about this and requested a termination of contract.

On the other hand, the CEO's side stated, "Clara lied in order to avoid paying the cancelation charge of over 1 billion KRW (~ 900,000 USD). Other celebrities in the agency also received the Hermes bag."
A rep also told Star News, "The content are all groundless and simply malicious claims." In relation to the Hermes bag, the rep stated, "The brand was told to be an expensive brand, but in reality, the bag Clara received was of a low price. I am aware that afterwards, Clara showed her gratitude by also giving CEO Lee a present."
