Previously, there were reports that Lee Jun Ki and TVXQ's Changmin were set for new historical fantasy drama entitled 'Scholar Who Walks the Night,' based on a web toon of the same name. Lee Jun Ki's agency, Namoo Actors, has now stepped up to confirm that they have indeed finished talks and the actor is finalized to be taking part in the drama.
As he is known for his amazing action skills and acting in historical productions after historical productions, fans are super excited to see him take on a new role by combining it with the mysticism of vampires. On April 2, his agency said, "Lee Jun Ki has been cast in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'Scholar Who Walks the Night.'"

Everybody rejoice! Lee Jun Ki will be the male lead, Kim Sung Yeol, who has not only outstanding looks but also literary and martial arts skills that will have jaws dropping. Although he dreamed with his political comrade and good friend, the crown prince, of a day the nation's people would be happy, he falls into harsh fate by becoming a vampire and losing the people he loves, hence becoming the scholar who walks the night.
Meanwhile, Jin Se Yeon might be playing his leading lady.
