Following indie band Monni's leave, this week's episode of 'I Am a Singer' welcomed vocalist Na Yoon Kwon as a new competitor on the show, exciting the fans as well as other competitors as he is known to have one of the most amazing tones in the industry.
This week's duet competition featured acclaimed artists such as Jung In, Lee Jung, and even a universally renowned musical actor. Despite Na Yoon Kwon's near-perfect collaborative performance with Younha, the singer placed 6th place on the show.

Wheesung and rapper Jessi came in fifth with their unique remake of "Parade" by Jun In Kwon. Fourth place went to Ha Dong Gyun and Lee Jung, third place went to So Chan Hwi and indie band vocalist Ban. Park Jung Hyun, who consistently captivated the audience with her stage, placed second this week, while Yangpa came in first place with a fun, punky remake of "Running in The Sky" by Lee Juk.
And to everyone's surprise, last place went to Sweet Sorrow, who performed "Uphill" by Yoon Jong Shin featuring Jung In. Although they performed a beautiful rendition of the song, the performance received the lowest points, placing Sweet Sorrow in a critical situation.
After watching the performances, a top commenter wrote in disbelief, "I thought that Sweet Sorrow would place first, but when they were announced as last I was surprised. It was disappointing, but was a great performance nonetheless! Thank you for introducing me to a song I didn't know of. ^^ Yoon Jong Shin's lyrics are so beautiful..."
Another wrote, "I can't believe that Sweet Sorrow is last. My parents and I cried while watching the performance really ??????????."
One commenter even harshly criticized Yangpa and Kim Yeon Woo's performance and said that they turned the channel watching the performance because it seemed like a competition of who can scream louder.
