Kwanghee, the poor guy, was once again compared to his fellow ZE:A members.
On a recent episode of MBC's 'Infinity Challenge,' HaHa sat down with Kwanghee at his agency building to interview him for the position of the sixth 'Infinity Challenge' member.
In the clip above, HaHa starts, "When it comes to ZE:A, I honestly think that it's Kwanghee who made the group [come this far]." He continues, "But these days Siwan and Hyungsik are flying."
Kwanghee admits, "I need a breakthrough too." He continues to express his frustration saying,"I do need some kind of breakthrough... Did you see the pillars supporting the building? It's as is Seo In Young-noona built 3 of those, Park Jung Ah-noona built 3, and I built about 2. But it looks like now Siwan and Hyungsik are going to raise an entire building. My pictures used to be all over the wall, but now they're all gone. I'm upset. I don't have anywhere to stand. Before, when I had filming, all the staff would be here, but now they all went home!"
Kwanghee continues, "[Infinity Challenge was] talking about a new member, but I didn't think it had anything to do with me. I still kind of think so, but I was contacted to say I was going to record 'Infinity Challenge.' But I've never been on 'Infinity Challenge' out of the 5 years that I've been promoting... I didn't have any connections to 'Infinity Challenge', and I was a little upset, too. I was a hot topic, once upon a time.."
HaHa laughs, asking, "'There was a time'? Do you think you're in a slump?"
Kwanghee frankly replies, "I went down a lot." To prove his point, he revealed that he looked up online comments regarding his appearance on 'Infinity Challenge' the other night, saying, "There were nothing but curses."
He proceeds to read a comment, "Kwanghee? Are they shitting with us? What kind of part-time (censored)...," before covering his mouth at the curses that ensue. He shouts, "What did I do wrong!? I've only been quietly working hard for broadcast."
Netizens laughed and sympathized with Kwanghee, with top comments saying, "Kwanghee, are you reading this? I think you're the greatest," "I think Kwanghee is the best candidate [as the sixth member], but 'Infinity Challenge' is not a place for people who can't take curses and criticism," and, "Even though Siwan and Hyungsik take up a floor of the agency building like Kwanghee said, Kwanghee is actually the one who formed the foundation for ZE:A."
