Suwon's Baseball team KT Wiz did just that as they actually launched a flaming ball of fire into the stadium as an opening pitch. I kid you not. Check out the clip above to see the craziness yourself.
Before anyone freaks out over safety issues, it looks like the fireball was burning on a transparent line, which you can make out around the 0:07 mark and again at the 0:20 mark, to ensure that it hits the mark instead of going out of control.
But why the fireball you may ask? Who knows. As long as no batter is expected to hit that thing, right?
