Jessi of Lucky J and 'Unpretty Rapstar' explained that she didn't mean what she said in her diss raps towards her castmates on the competitive reality show.
At the group interview for the Mnet show on March 10, Jessi discussed her losing diss battle with Kissum, saying, "I don't want to diss anyone. It's a part of rap culture, but if I had to do it again, I'd probably do bad again because they're all people I like."
She also explained that what she experienced in the United States is a bit different than what she was faced with on 'Unpretty Rapstar'. "Overseas, if you diss someone, you're really asking for a fight. In Korea, they told us to diss each other, so we did. To be honest, we curse when we diss each other, but it's not how we sincerely feel. In America, if you diss someone, they'll try to fight you."
In other news, rapper Lil Cham was eliminated on the previous episode of 'Unpretty Rapstar'. Have you been enjoying the series?
