Fans of the record-breaking series 'Reply 1994' and 'Reply 1997' are likely very excited about the casting underway for tvN's upcoming 'Reply 1988'!�
Earlier today, Ra Mi Ran was reported to have received an offer, and now�Girl's Day Hyeri�has also been mentioned to be in consideration, and in fact, for the lead role!
On March 25, DreamT Entertainment confirmed, "Hyeri has received an offer for a role in 'Reply 1988' and is currently reviewing the offer. We can't say anything more than that."
The drama is set to air in October and is currently in its pre-production stage as it continues casting for the roles. As of now, the only two confirmed actors are Song Dong Il and Lee Il Hwa, who played the parents in both 'Reply 1994' and 'Reply 1997'.

Hyeri has been gradually growing her acting resume with her role in 'Seonam Girls High School Investigators'�and 'Hyde, Jekyll and Me'.
