Remember when singer Kim Jang Hoon revealed to the world that he potentially illegally downloaded the Hollywood movie 'Taken 3'? Well, apparently a random, conservative civic group charged Kim Jang Hoon for violating copyright infringement and took him to court. Luckily for Kim Jang Hoon, the prosecution decided to drop the case.
Kind of nosy of a group that has no relation to 'Taken 3' whatsoever to sue the guy, don't you think?

On March 19, prosecutors announced that as the accuser had no legal right to charge Kim Jang Hoon, they would be dropping the case without trial. A representative explained their reasoning, saying, "As a rule, under the Copyright Act, those who directly have rights over the work in question can charge someone [of copyright]. Kim was charged not by the party directly involved in the work but by a third party."
