On February 17, legal representatives of D&i Entertainment stated, "Since July of 2013, D&i Entertainment's CEO Choi Yong Soo signed Song So Hee under an exclusive contract with the agency and has been managing her ever since. However, the agency has not been able to receive their share of revenue that Song So Hee gained through her promotional activities and decided to file a lawsuit in regards to revenue distribution."
CEO Choi Yong Soo said, "Song So Hee has deposited the adjusted amount twice, but didn't distribute [the revenue] properly. We've gone through various attempts such as sending certification of contents to settle the situation. However, Song So Hee has not responded [to our attempts] and therefore, we've decided to file a lawsuit."
The CEO added, "We've signed a 7-year contract with 5:5 (50/50) profit distribution with Song So Hee and have supported her in her appearance in CFs and on broadcasts. However, in contrast to what the contract stated, we weren't able to receive our fair share of the profit. In addition, she also ignored the contract and promoted individually, excluding the agency."
Meanwhile, the first case for the lawsuit between Song So Hee and D&i Entertainment will be held on March 3 at the Seoul Southern District Court.
