Yuri explained, "When it comes to reality variety programs, female celebrities always get worried. But I said that I really want to raise animals."
She added, "Furthermore, when I heard that the animals [we would raise] are pandas, I got happy thinking, 'Will I get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a panda before my very eyes?' and joined. Right now, I'm raising a dog and, because I spent a lot of time with animals ever since I was young, I have a great love for them."
When asked about her fellow Girls' Generation members' reaction to her new show, she said, "I took a picture of the panda and sent it to Girls' Generation's chat window, and the members thought it was really cute."
'Animals' will be a program in which celebrities will eat, sleep, and live with several animals. The show will start broadcasting on January 25.
