Lee Seung Gi revealed his dating style and philosophy on love during a press interview on January 12 for the upcoming movie, 'Today's Love'.
It was previously reported that Lee Seung Gi will be taking on the role of Kang Junsu, an innocent and naive boy who falls head-over-heels for Kim Hyun Woo (played by Moon Chae Won).
He said, "When it comes to love, I'm not that shy like the character Junsu. In reality, I recklessly show my feelings. However, I try to carefully think if I genuinely like this person before confessing my feelings."
Lee Seung Gi added, "If I look back at my relationship experiences, there wasn't a time that it stopped at just 'some.' It always progressed to being in love from being a 'some' relationship. My success rate is pretty high."
He revealed that although his success rate was high, he was not the type to lead a lot of different people on, stating, "But that doesn't mean I give a lot of leeway in multiple places. I haven't been in that many relationships. To put it shortly, I don't really invest much [in relationships] but once I do, I put everything into it."
Lastly, Lee Seung Gi said, "For me love is being genuine. There are no vague feelings. If I really love someone, I just push my way forward like a man. That's the way I approach love. Rather than enjoying the push-and-pull, I think a straightforward confession is more attractive."
Meanwhile, the movie 'Today's Love,' featuring Lee Seung Gi and Moon Che Won, will be released in theaters on January 14.
