TV personality Boom made his first appearance on one a major broadcast channel through KBS 2TV pilot variety show 'Butterfly Effect' after taking a hiatus due to an illegal gambling scandal.

He expressed his happiness at being back, revealing he received a call about his comeback opportunity at 12:30 in the morning.  "I worried a lot.  I am honored that I got to make my return," he said.

When Park Ji Yoon mentioned, "Boom was once an icon of predicting things in sports," in reference to his illegal gambling controversy, Boom replied, "Predictions must stop at predictions.  You must never go further by betting on your predictions.  I will do my best to be not a predictor of the future, but a predictor who's way off, " revealing his intention to never gamble again.
