5urprise's Gong Myung to make his first major drama debut through MBC's 'Hwajeong'

It's been revealed that Gong�Myung of the�actor-singer group 5urprise�has been�confirmed for new MBC historical drama 'Hwajeong'!

Gong Myung is to take on the role of Ja Kyung, the bodyguard and the closest friend of Princess Jeong Myeong. Ja Kyung is a cynical character who was raised as a slave, but has a soft spot for Princess Jeong Myeong.


The actor stated to the press, "I am really nervous and excited that 'Hwajeong' will be my drama debut. I am working hard for the character and practicing for the action scenes so that I can be prepared for the filming. I want to show a good side of me to the public through this drama."�


He'll be starring alongside�Cha Seung Won and Lee Yeon Hee, who were previously confirmed for the drama.�
