2NE1's Dara and Kim Young Kwang have been cast as the leads of the upcoming Chinese-Korean web drama 'Dr. Mo Clinic'.
This is the first time Dara has been cast as a lead character in a series, and she'll be playing the love interest of the 'Pinocchio' actor. 'Dr. Mo Clinic' tells the story of a psychiatrist, played by Kim Young Kwang, who specializes in hypnosis treatment and the men and women who go on their own journeys through counseling. Dara's character Lee So Dam, an eccentric office girl, will be there to help the doctor manage his patients.
Dara stated, "Since it's my first drama, I'll learn and grow as an actress from now on. I thought this drama is a very good opportunity for me as I can meet fans around the world online through this new genre of web drama." She also added, "The character is very interesting as she's so similar to me. Of course, I feel somewhat nervous and burdened, but I will concentrate and work hard."
