During the latest trial held at the Seoul Central District Court for the ongoing blackmail case involving GLAM's Dahee and model Lee Ji Yeon, the prosecution proposed that the court gives the two a 3-year jail sentence each.
The prosecution told the judge, "Although Dahee and Lee Ji Yeon admit that they are accomplices, they do not admit to the matter of premeditating the crime or the crime itself... We have determined that they are in need of a strict punishment, and we ask for a 3-year jail sentence."
The prosecution also stated, "Although the defendants have submitted several letters of apology, they have not directly apologized to the victim, and instead seem to be shifting the blame over to Lee Byung Hun."
The prosecution insisted that it's clear that the crime was premeditated, and that due to the few number of meetings between Lee Ji Yeon and Lee Byung Hun, the two couldn't have had a romantic relationship.
However, like before, Dahee and Lee Ji Yeon's legal team argued that the crime was not premeditated and simply stemmed from the inappropriate actions of Lee Byung Hun, who they say had an affair with the model. Dahee and Lee Ji Yeon also asked for leniency as they both conveyed their apologies to the actor, who was not present, with tears.
