The first court-referred mediation between former EXO member, Luhan, and his agency, SM Entertainment, took place at the Seoul Central District Court on December 16, but the two sides did not reach a suitable agreement.
Neither Luhan nor SM CEO Kim Young Min was present at the meeting, but their legal representatives met up for about 30 minutes to relay each side's stance.

SM's legal rep stated, "It was a place for us to tell each other our position. The next mediation date has not been decided." Luhan's side had requested the nullification of his contract with SM.
Henceforth, the justice department will decide on their next meeting date to advise both parties to reach a settlement.
