On December 30, online music site, Bugs, released its '2014 Bugs Awards,' revealing the top artists, songs, and more from December 1, 2013 to November 30, 2014!
The '2014 Comprehensive Chart' was split into two parts: 'Top 100 Songs' and 'Top 10 Albums.' In the top 100 songs, the first ten on the list were:
- Soyu x JungGiGo's "Some"
- IU's "Meaning of You"
- Idina Menzel's "Let It Go"
- Taeyang's "Eyes, Nose, Lips"
- Lee Sun Hee's "Meet Him Among Them"
- San E x Raina's "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness"
- Adam Levine's "Lost Stars"
- Park Hyo Shin's "Wild Flower"
- Akdong Musician's "200%"
- IU's "Friday"
For the 'Top 10 Albums,' IU's 'A Flower Bookmark' took the first spot, followed by Akdong Musician's 'Play,' the 'Begin Again' soundtrack, and 2NE1's 'Crush.'
In addition, there were titles such as 'Song of the Year' and 'Artist of the Year' based on 80% of 17 experts' votes and 20% of Bugs music content team's votes. Based on those votes, "Some" was chosen as the 'Song of the Year' in the nation, so that it won two awards! In the global music scene, Pharrell's "Happy" was chosen.

As for the 'Artist of the Year,' there were six different sections. Taeyang won for male solo, IU for female solo, EXO-K for male idol group, A Pink for female idol group, Jang Gi Ha & The Faces for indie, and Akdong Musician for rookies.
For the other special awards, Seo Taiji, who returned with 'Quiet Night,' won the 'Comeback of the Year' award.
