A rep from the Gangnam Police Station told media outlets on the 14th, "The National Forensic Service sent in Noh Hong Chul's blood test results this morning... His blood alcohol content was above 0.1%."
According to national law, if one gets caught with a BAC lower than 0.1%, his driver's license becomes suspended. However, if one's BAC is in the 0.1% to 0.19% range, his license will be revoked.
Although his agency had said Noh Hong Chul was simply re-parking his car when he had been caught, the police have revealed that he was seen turning left onto a small street when they pulled him over. [Update: newer reports indicate that he turned right onto a street rather than left when he was caught]
A police rep stated, "Noh Hong Chul will be called in for investigation next week... We will be asking why he was drinking, what he was drinking, and what distance he had driven before he was caught."
An official briefing by the police is also expected to follow later today.
