On November 13, a particularly bizarre case was reported. A 40-year-old pharmaceutical employee identified as Mr. Kim was charged with purposely ramming into women and verbally abusing them on the streets.
Netizens have reacted angrily to the news, questioning why Mr. Kim would selectively take out his stress on women. Comments include, "Why would you take it out only on girls you idiot," "Acting strong to the weak," and, "Then why would you only do that to women kekeke, is it because women are easy [targets]?"
Mr. Kim's ramming rampage occurred back on October 26. According to the Suwon Seobu Police Station, Mr. Kim purposely ran into six different women in ten minutes and lashed out at them each on Apgujeong Rodeo Street. On October 29, a passerby who had recorded Mr. Kim's hostile behavior uploaded the above video as proof.
The strangeness doesn't end there. Upon seeing this video, the Suwon Seobu Police Station went as far as to dispatch three investigative teams of 17 people to eventually find him on November 12 in the city of Yongin.
When Mr. Kim was captured, he reportedly told the police, "I did this because I was stressed from work." He is currently being investigated by the police.
