She filed a lawsuit in March against her brother Jang Kyung Young demanding the money she let him borrow back, as he borrowed 320 million KRW (approximately $290,000 USD) from her and never repaid her. The justice department tried to mediate the suit in May, but the two sides could not come to an agreement, and took their fight to court. They had their first hearing on October 8th, and will have the second on December 5th.

This is Jang Yoon Jung's second time going to court with her mother and little brother, as her mother had previously sued her former company demanding money. However, back then the court sided with her label, saying, "Just because Miss Yook (Jang Yoon Jung's mother) managed Jang Yoon Jung's money, does not mean she has the rights to it."
