In the city of Daegu, Mr. Kim was walking home when he found a junior high school student smoking a cigarette inside an apartment playground. Without a word, Mr. Kim reportedly walked up to the student and started slapping him across the face.
The police stated, "On his way home after drinking alcohol, [Mr. Kim] saw that an underage [person] was smoking a cigarette and hit him in order to discipline him." Mr. Kim was indicted without being held in detention.
