This 'Who Wore It Better' is a three-way battle between members of some of K-pop's hottest groups: T-ara's Jiyeon, A Pink's Na-Eun, and KARA's Seungyeon.
The piece is a knee-length dress with a pinstripe pattern. A collared white button-down is layered under the dress giving the illusion of a two-piece outfit. The extra cut-out region on the waist gives the dress an extra unique white accent.
Jiyeon wore the dress while hosting SBS's 'MTV The Show' while Na-Eun wore the dress during A Pink's performance of "Sunday Monday" on 'Music Bank.' Lastly, Seungyeon wore the piece to the press conference for her mini-drama, 'Her Lovely Heels.' So, let's see which beauty pulled this look off best.
Na-Eun went for cute schoolgirl theme, pairing the dress with white socks and loafers—she went for a natural look with loose curls and minimal makeup. Jiyeon went for a more sophisticated look with black pumps—she also opted for darker makeup. Seungyeon went for a theme somewhere between Na-Eun and Jiyeon. She wore stripy black sandals with color block platforms, and styled her hair in an up-do with straight bangs. Her look was playful and mature at the same time. Similarly, all three girls accessorized light, making the dress the main focus of their outfits.
Although all of the girls look beautiful, I think Seungyeon is the winner of this battle. For Na-Eun, I prefer when she wears pieces that highlight her youthful charms, and this conservative dress did not do much for her. In addition, while I liked Jiyeon's choice to wear black pumps, the dress had too much fabric for her small frame. On the other hand, I think the dress fit Seungyeon perfectly--the tailoring of the bottom, making the dress a tad shorter, was the factor that made all the difference for this piece.
