On the September 10 broadcast of SBS's Chuseok special of 'Something', Roy Kim gave an acoustic performance of Choi Baek Ho's song "My Heart Has Lost its Direction" in front of Choi Baek Ho himself, as well as other older generation Korean singers, for a segment titled, "An OST for the nation's fathers".

Roy Kim impressed the crowd with his cover, as MC Kang Ho Dong complimented him after his performance, saying, "Roy Kim is no joke."
To explain the rather emotional song, the original singer Choi Baek Ho shared, "When you look at the lyrics, you may think it's a story about a beloved significant other leaving, but it's actually a story of someone missing his mother who passed away when he was 20-years-old."
He added, "I am an only child, so when my mother passed away, writing this song gave me strength."

In other news, Park Geun Young performed with his son Yoon Sang Hoon on the same episode, creating a stage that was appealing to both older and younger generations for the holidays.
