On the September 11th episode of MBC's 'Stargazing', MBLAQ's Mir revealed that he and his sister were such big g.o.d fans that he thought about marrying one of the members, while his sister actually ended up marrying g.o.d's former manager.
Mir explained, "When I was little I liked reading fan fiction. In g.o.d there's the HoSang couple (Son Ho Young and Yoon Kye Sang) and DanWoo (Danny Ahn and Kim Tae Woo) couple, but I personally really liked the HoSang couple." Due to reading so many fanfics that shipped the male members together, he revealed, "And so I thought back then that between Yoon Kye Sang and Son Ho Young, I would marry one of them," drawing laughs for his blatant fanboy confession.
While Mir never fulfilled his fanboy dream of marrying a g.o.d member, his eldest sister did marry g.o.d's former manager. "My eldest sister was also a huge fan of g.o.d, so she called my other sister Go Eun Ah to get her some g.o.d concert tickets. On the day of the concert, g.o.d's manager brought out the tickets to my sister, and they fell for each other. They married, and at the wedding, Tae Woo hyung sang for them."
Kim Tae Woo confirmed this and added, "That manager is now MBLAQ's company president now." Mir stated, "My current company president is my brother-in-law and also g.o.d's former manager."
Throughout the episode, Mir's fanboy status was also recognized by not only the g.o.d members, but from fellow fans in the audience, who gawked at Mir's ability to recall specific concert experiences as well as recite song titles that many have never even heard of before.
