One way celebrities get to connect with all their fans is the ever fast and still growing world of social media (or SNS)! Some celebrities particularly proved to be an international hit when it came to their different social media, whether it's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so eToday took it upon themselves to figure out the rankings when it came to SNS power!
Lee Min Ho appears to be the king of Facebook as he came out on top with a total of 15,360,000 people liking his page! Trailing behind in second place was none other than world star, Psy, who had 12,360,000 page likes--close, but no cigar. Big Bang, as a group, came in third with 8,480,000 page likes.
On Twitter, however, things were different. Super Junior's Siwon had about 4,150,000 followers for the coveted first place! As a matter of fact, he was the first entertainer to surpass 1 million followers on Twitter back in 2011. His fellow member Donghae was second with 4.07 million followers while Psy was third with 3.72 million followers.
Instagram was yet again another story. Big Bang once again got their name on the ranking as G-Dragon took first place. He even made the 'Top 100 Instagrammers' list in the 83rd spot, which is an amazing feat considering there are a ton of Instagrammers all over the world! Girls' Generation's Taeyeon follows him as she takes the 92nd place in the top 100 Instagram accounts. In third place was EXO's Chanyeol.
Of course, there is also the Chinese version of Twitter, Weibo. Psy topped this ranking with 24,480,000 followers, Lee Min Ho came in second with 23,270,000 followers, and Jang Geun Suk in third with 17,830,000 followers. Meanwhile, Lee Jun Ki recently broke through 14,000,000 followers and stated, "My Chinese family has gotten even bigger. Thank you."
Additionally, portal site blogs are becoming a trendy new outlet. Lee Hyori's blog received 10,000,000 views in about two months, topping the blog chart. In second place is Kim Jin Pyo. Following them are Ivy, announcer Park Ji Yoon, and Navi.
