John Park showed concern about looking like a fool before SBS 'Laws of the City in New York' co-star Baek Jin Hee on the August 6 edition.
As he's been portrayed as having somewhat of a clueless image on various broadcasts, he said, "A lot of people are misunderstanding me, and I think I must have looked really dumb in the past. I think people must see me as someone who lives without thinking much."

He continued, "In the past, I appeared on TV with Baek Jin Hee. It was a fake documentary and I played the character of a complete idiot. I feel like she doesn't have a good impression of me."
John Park continued, "After filming, Baek Jin Hee said, 'I'm not sure what this place is. I think Lee Juk and John Park are really weird.'" Although Baek Jin Hee probably said it lightheartedly as a joke, John Park revealed he was determined to show her as well as viewers that he isn't as dumb as he is made out to be at times on shows.
As he will be the second official 'helper' on the New York edition of 'Laws of the City', joining the cast which includes Baek Jin Hee, John Park said, "This time, I want to dispel the misunderstandings as I show [a different side of me] by speaking English fluently and more."
