Alarming news for fans. According to the Severance Hospital on July 21, singer and actress Yoo Chae Young was revealed to have advanced gastric cancer and that it is currently a crucial moment for her.
The status of her health was revealed back in October when she felt something was weird with her body and went in for a health examination. That same month, she underwent surgery at Severance Hospital during which it was confirmed that the cancer cells have spread to other parts of her body. In addition, even after receiving cancer treatments, her condition did not improve.

After hearing this latest update, her husband, Kim Joo Hwan, told one media outlet through a phone conversation, "As Chae Young provided happiness to a lot of people while she was active [as a celebrity], I would like all the people who know her to pray after seeing the reports."
Hopefully, this crucial moment the hospital speaks of will pass quickly and she will be in safe condition once again.
